Tescos Wooden Railway Stuff

Both DSs are mad Thomas fans and love their wooden railway (Ikea). We've started to get a few accessorises for them and my sister got them a fab lifting bridge from Tescos for Xmas. I know Tescos also do a rope bridge and a station but do you know if they do anything else in the range???

We don't live in the UK so don't want to keep sending sister into Tescos looking for stuff that doesnt exist! (Can't find anything but track on the Tescos Direct website!) TIA

By the way - thank you to whoever linked to Tulip Toys on the recent thread re Thomas trains - their stock will def keep DSs v happy for the next few birthdays and xmases!

up and over station type thing - box with a track through and a track over the top, 2 downs, 2 straights and 2 1-2 joins is good

double engine shed and 1-2 join

turntable

We also have the lifting bridge and the rope bridge

Don't actually know if they still do any of the above.

If I notice any others in the toybox I'll post again.

John Lewis stock Brio stuff which works well with Tesco/Ikea. Got my boys a collapsing bridge for Christmas, and few other bits which they love. They do free p&p for UK. Not sure about overseas though.

Btw the way, Tesco do a set for £10, which has got a bridge in it (might be the one you're talking about), and loads of curved track, which is excellent value (imo)

think they did a circus, but didn't look that good to me.

Why don't you just get her to go to a big Tesco and see what they have? Maybe take a camera and e-mail you pics so you can choose

I can't remember which of ds's were in a £10 type set (as per runnyhabit's post) but we defn a turntable & a mountain with tunnels (that must have been in the set). Tesco stuff is fab

Thinking about it, I've noticed in the past that their train stock seems to vary quite a lot - does your sister have dcs? If so, think I'd give her a budget and send her into have fun

Thanks v much for replies - sounds like its worth my personalshopper sister keeping a look out for stock!
