Where can I find white long-sleeved bodysuits aged 2-3+...?

Hi. Trying to find these with plain round neck or popper fastening at the shoulder but def not envelope neck. Just want them to put under some nice little short-sleeved tops which DD will have outgrown by the time summer comes around. Only need 1 or 2 not a huge pack! H&M used to do them in smaller size but I can't find bigger ones anywhere.
TIA

why not the envelope neck?

MrsBadger · 06/01/2009 11:46

you won't see the envelope neck under a shortsleeved top

but I can't think of anywhere that does 2-3 ones

if you just need them big to go over cloth nappies then you might get away 18-24m ones - Frugi are nicest and Tinkertogs cheapest

My DD (2 and a bit) wears Mothercare 18-24 months size, they do have the envelope neck though.

Have you looked at Vertbaudet?

I got some from Next age 2-3 but fit my large almost 3 year old (plenty of room left to grow)

I've found envelope neck doesn't sit so well under the summery tops some of which are cut low in the neck and are close fitting. DD is almost 2 but v tall for her age and with a pot belly so prefer bodysuits as they keep her midriff from getting exposed to the winter air!

MrsB - we have a some lovely Frugi ones which are fab but a bit too bulky to put under lightweight tops. Are Tinkertogs the same?

Marne - will try Next. Only recently discovered that their sizes are quite generous.

she won't care if the neckline shows!

(and if her pot belly is anything like my dd's you want to avoid 'close fitting' like the plague )

The Tinkertogs fabric isn't as heavy as the Frugi stuff but I can't imagine they'd be any better than the Next ones. Much cheaper than Frugi though.

Ah, I meant close fitting over the chest and floating out in a handy smock style over the tummy. I know what you mean though, have to be very careful to avoid the "sausage in a skin" look! Will check out Tinkertogs. Thanks.

Have you tried M&S? Got DS last lot from there (but, v. unhelpfully), can't remember if they were 18-24 month or 2-3 years - worth a look though, as i remember wondering having shopped around for ages, why I hadn't looked there earlier.

My ds has just turned 2 and he is wearing M&S 2-3yr bodysuits. They are not overly big in my opinion and won't fit him for much longer so not sure if they'd be big enough for what you need.
