Tangle teezer hair brush - great product?

I have just used this brush

www.body4real.co.uk/product.php?productid=17967

and it worked an absolute treat on my long curly hair which can get very knotted. It really was like magic. However quite a bit of hair came with it - it was not pulled out roughly though. Does anyone know if these are supposed to be good/bad for hair (e.g. does it cause split ends?) as it certainly does the job excellently. Thanks

I use it on my DD's hair and have done for about 6mths. I have seen no deterioration in her hair, if anything it looks better. She loses very little too.

thread here as well

As you'll see from the above thread I've found it to be brilliant!

Thanks - had a look but I think that is a different brush.

Sorry yes - looked at your link now and my one is a 'Tangle-Tamer' I think the principle's probably the same though
Will bump this for you anyway!

I wonder if either of these would work with Barbie hair, you know, the ones you want to put in the bin...

sunshinejune · 06/01/2009 14:26

what is barbie hair?

NAB3lovelychildren · 06/01/2009 14:27

It is fab.

I use the tangle teaser. Its an excellant product. Worth its weight in gold.

It pulls less hair out of dd1 than normal brushes. And her hair looks loads shinier than it did before. Maybe you just shed a lot of hair? lots of people with thick hair do.

Barbie doll hair, I sadly once did a google search on how to restore it.

I don't notice much hair in mine...I use it on myself dd and ds. I love it.
Not the easiest to hold however.

Ideal for hair extensions (thats why I bought it in the 1st place)
