Wii Fit - will it ever be freely available anywhere?

Because try as I might - I can't get one! Well not one for a normal price and without having to buy some ridiculously over priced game which I probably don't even want anyway. Grr.

Have the wii-availibity checker site but not getting anywhere. It flashed up once to say that Amazon had some, but when I got there they didn't.

How long do you reckon I will have to wait to get hold of one for RRP?

Littlewoods Direct have then with 8 week delivery if that's any good??

Hulababy · 04/01/2009 20:52

Thanks, saw that earlier. Don't really want to part with money with no confirmation of them definitely turning up. Especially in the current climate of sudden shop closures, etc.

when I ordered my Wii Console from them in September it was a 3 month delivery - but it came direct from the Manucfacturer - and they didn't take the money until it had been dispatched (if that's any more help?

If I could guarantee my money was safe until it was sent it'd not be too bad.

gill89 · 04/01/2009 21:29

don't bother - get Family Trainer instead. Much more physical and cheaper.

we have Wii Fit and like it but prefer FT. Not worth all the chasing to get one imo

SueW · 04/01/2009 21:38

I got one from Tesco.com last year (May? June?). Just used to log on each morning over my cuppa about 7am and one day it was there. Did @deliver to store' and collected next day,

Was in Derby some motnss later and noticed they had some in HMV at 9am, big sign outside. Phoned a friend and managed to get one for her as she'd been looking for ages.

WedgiesMum · 04/01/2009 21:43

whitenoise · 05/01/2009 18:25

sorry, that is not meant to sound as rude as it looks!!

direct from manufacturer usually means on a ship from china, which would take 6-8 weeks normally (slightly more if the container is held up by customs-i speak from experience!)

Hulababy · 05/01/2009 18:25

real hardship even!
