I followed a link from an Ebay search page, looking for ds lite games, this looks great, but do not know the company and I being an idiot for even contemplating buying something like this?

www.nds-gaming.co.uk

I normally say if it looks too good to be true then it probably is.... but it looks so good!!!

Also found a similar site in the US again from an ebay link...

We got a chip with 8 games for dd's ds, not from that particular site, but it was a genuine Nintendo product and it has been fine. A friend bought the one with 100 games on it, again not from that site, and it too has been fine. The only thing I would say with the 100 games is that not all the games are suitable for young ones and I don't think there is a way of preventing them from accessing age-unsuitable games.

We got ours from here - don't know if they are more expensive than your site.

ponygirl17 · 04/01/2009 21:22

ooh - that was the 1st site I found, also linked from ebay... but prefer the uk one, as although it is more expensive there is an option where I can choose all my own games to be put on the one cartridge. I am more concerned about giving my card details than having problems with the product.

it is legal to download and play them i believe but illegal for people to copy and put them online - although i believe they get round it by saying they are providing people with backups! i am pretty sure this is how it works (but please do your own research) - you cann buy the game cartridge callwed an r4 and it takes a micro sd card to put games on.

ponygirl17 · 05/01/2009 15:13

TBH I would rather buy a cartridge than download stuff, if it is even close to being illegal, I am not interested. Just want lots of games, and do not want to more upwards of 15 quid each!
