Hi. I bought DD this for her first birthday last week and just wanted to know what everybody else thinks of it?

DD likes it, but can't touch the floor with her feet so can't use it to bounce etc on. To be honest, the only thing she has been using it for is to spin the mnusical bits on the handle, which she does without sitting on it..

Also, the plastic bit at the bottome is quite slippery and she has falllen over on it twice already.

Saw one in elc last week. Looked v.disapointing. Much better on TV ad

dp is obsessed with these and has wanted to get one since dd was about 14/15 months old but i've managed to talk him out of it for her and for ds.... going to have another battle on my hands with dc3 as i know he's going to decide it's the best toy ever yet again [sigh]

it just looks quite dangerous to me, i can invisage so many ways a barely toddling baby could do themselves damage with it!

our dd got one of these from her uncle for her 1st birthday, she was also too small to reach the ground, and happily played with the spinning toys for another 8 months. She is 20 months now and loves it, will defo be keeping it for baby #2 whose due in April. She's never hurt herself on it, although now tries to stand on the back!!!

Ds got one for Xmas, he's nearly 18 months but pretty tall, so height-wise it's fine for him. He loves it! No accidents so far....

DN has one and absolutley loves it. She is almost two but has had it for about 6 months. She plays on it every day.

Thats good then, hopefully when she can reach the ground it will be used more. I have baby no 2 due in april too so will hopefully be able to get lots of use out of it over the next few years.
