The machines seem cheap enough but DH says the stuff to buy to use with them is expensive. Any ideas anyone please? I do think I would use it a lot.

laminating sheets are expensive but if you think you'll use it a lot that go for it. I use the one at work all the time and they are fab

Any ideas for the best place to get them from please?

Have a look around for the laminating pouches. I bought some in Staples recently. £35 for 250 iirc. I think the lamintor itself was about £25.

Ebay tend to be pretty cheap, just had a look and there are some on therehere

Tigerschick · 03/01/2009 12:36

I saw some in our Aldi yesterday.
The laminator itself was £14.95 but I didn't see how much the pouches were.

wilkinson are very cheap for the laminating pouches

We haven't got an Aldi yet.

Do all pouches fit all machines?

I think WH Smiths have them for £9.99, at least they did just before Christmas (was tempted). I didn't notice the price of the pouches though.

The machines and pouches are tied to paper sizes.

An A3 pouch will not fit in an A4 machine.

I have got one

Did ring and reserve for one in Argos. Got there, box had been o-pened, decided not to risk it as always seem to get faulty stuff. Got one with a shredder for half price in Sainsbury's. Shame the kids have spilt water all over the stuff I wanted to laminate.

netto have the pouches in periodically at a good price. I think tesco might be cheap, or I might just have got them in a sale.
I don't use mine alot but like having it.

One year I did bookmarks for xmas presents for the grandparents, 3 pictures of the dc's on each side and the year. Worked really well.

Have done the first two and I am very

I got some pouches in Argos in a deal even though I didn't take the laminator. WHSmiths had some reduced but I thought the 50 I had would do to start with.

I feel a new addiction coming on. Got to be better than what I have been thinking about!!
