Just sharing.

DH bought one of these mattress toppers from John Lewis. It's fabulous. It's magic. It's like the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on in me life!

I think if your mattress is pretty much sound and neither of you is massively over weight, then just the topper is the business.

My DH is a big bloke (18stone) but we have a really good, sprung mattress to begin with. He has never slept as well as he does since we put this topper on. Dunno about cost, he bought it. But he got it from JL.

I bought mine from argos it only cost £70.00 for a single one. It's really lovely and comfy. We have a huge 6ft bed and husband loved the mattress that we had and I didn't, so to buy a single which is 3ft wide was the perfect solution . plus its small enough to roll up and take away with me!
