moses basket mattress

Can anyone offer me their opinion on moses basket mattresses?

We are going to put the new baby into the moses basket we used for my son, who is now 4.
The thing that I am concerned about is using the same mattress. Should I get a new one.
The old one is foam, encased in plastic.
I vaguely recall hearing something about germs in old mattress but not sure what to do.

Yes, a new one. Got one from a place online who had huge selection for a tenner first time then got £20 one from mothercare.

Yes I think I will definately get a new one.
Never thought about there being different sizes though. (pregnancy brain here)
