Maclaren Spitfire Stroller question re footmuff

Does anybody have this, or the same model?

On a product review someone has said that you have to take the footmuff off to collapse it? Is this true?

i doubt v.much you would, i've had many maclarens with footmuffs on inc.ryder which this is based on all collapse fine with footmuff.

Oh, thanks for that. DH tells me I've got no excuse to order it now. I have told him it isn't an actual spitfire.
