Found "fingerless gloves" anybody know what age they would suit?

Found this and wondered if they would be suitable for my DD. DD is only 12 months old though. But she won't wear mittens or gloves as she sucks her thumb and has a comfort toy that she likes to hold. Can't see exactly what these do but I am assuming they still keep your hands warm, without covering the fingers/thumb up?

DS had some from vertbaudet which were age 2-5 years or something like that.

Thanks Nappyaddict. Seemed odd that I couldn't find an age!

I always asumed the fingerless gloves were more of a fashion item, rather than about keeping your hands warm.

Yes I think they are more about fashion. BUT my DD will not wear anything that covers her fingers so I am just wondering if these would be better than nothing in this cold weather.
