Bad mum alert! Ds starts school next week and I haven't got round to ordering named labels for him. I have looked on Great Trading and they take a minimum of 28 days. Does anyone if I can get hold of them sooner?

Letterbox do them I think.

I get mine from That's Mine. They are in Australia but deliver quickly.

Mine are from easy2name. Have no idea how long they took though

I got mine from easy2name as you get a 10% mumsnet discount using mums-e2n at the checkout. This is what it says about delivery - it depends on what you order though. I had the fab and funky iron on labels and they took about 2 weeks to come through. In the meantime buy a laundry marker pen and write his name on the labels of his clothes.

How quickly should I expect my order?

Original Stick on Labels, Shoe Label Covers, Easytapes and Permanent transfers and bag tags should be despatched within 48 hours BUT if your order includes Woven Tapes, Luggage Straps, Letter Transfers, Shoebags or Fab and Funky labels it will take longer - your order should be despatched within 14 days, however, please allow up 21 days.

If you have a mixed order and need your other labels urgently please let us know and we will send them on ahead of the other items.

just write on the labels, fabric pen best (try bettawear) but cd marker good, or just biro - thought that will wash out.

ForeverOptimistic · 01/01/2009 13:26

Thanks.

Got some iron on tape from somexhere - possibiliy John Lewis? Anyhow it was ok but peeled off after a while. Now I just write the name with biro and redo it every so often.

DisastrousNuclearAccident · 01/01/2009 13:47

Don't bother....they are crap.

Go to staples or similar by a CD marker and write the names in....much much more effective.

Thanks for the tips. I just ordered some from easy2name should be here within 48 hours!

www.LabelLighthouse.com has stick-on labels that stick on to the wash tag so no ironing or sewing needed. :-)
