Ooh. I don't know what it is, but it looks ace. Sorry not to help. At least I'm bumping though..

TWINSETinapeartree · 30/12/2008 16:48

Thanks I think it also looks ace but for the life of me I cant work out what it is.

DD is an only child and there are not many things she will happily do on her own, but she plays with her magnext sets for ages.

isn't it just a set, with a case that has things you can attach the magnets to?

TWINSETinapeartree · 30/12/2008 17:08

So for £35 she is just getting a box, that is what I thought but it seemed a lot of money for a box.

ds got this from Father Christmas (via a half price offer at Argos). It does have quite a few pieces in it as well but don't think I'd pay full whack (£50) for it.

TWINSETinapeartree · 30/12/2008 17:47

I read the blurb but it meant nothing to me.

lol. It isn't written at all well is it, I read it several times.
To me it says that there are special type pieces and a magnetic display box.

northender · 30/12/2008 17:49

If she already has magnetix then that's compatible with it so you're not just stuck with the 100 pieces in the case.

SaintGeorge · 30/12/2008 17:49

Agree, wouldn't pay full price for it but then I think all Magnext stuff is pricey.

It is great for building models on and fantastic to actually have a case to put all the bloody stuff in.

Get it from Argos though, currently £24.39 with other offers available as well.

TWINSETinapeartree · 30/12/2008 17:49

It is still half price in argos. I could replace her vouchers with money as I need to get some books for work.

There are some fancy bits in it so you can suspend models off the handle and (if you are patient enough!) make moving models too.

TWINSETinapeartree · 30/12/2008 17:52

Thanks dd thinks it is amazing, dp thinks it is a waste of money though.
