I need help re ipods

I know nothing about them and ds has requested one for his 13th birthday. I've looked briefly on the argos website but there are loads at different prices.

I want to spend around £100 and no more than say 140. Any recommendations?

Ask your DS which kind he wants Nano, Shuffle, Touch... heaven forbid you get the wrong type.

I got dd the Shuffle for Christmas, and she loves it (she's also 13).

However, it is the cheap one (£32) and there is no display on it which I would find irritating, but dd loves it because it is so tiny. It's only about 1.5 inches square, but that also means it's easy to mislay. I've already trodden on it twice!

I've just got an ipod nano 8gb for £104 from Argos. It's so tiny i love it . I had a shuffle before but they are only 1gb or 2gb and £25-£40. An 8gb nano holds 2000 songs i think. Have a look here

The nice man in PC world said if you could afford it go for the Nano. I couldn't believe how small the shuffle was, I'd lose it in a heartbeat. (Don't have either BTW)

It might be worth you looking on the apple site as they do refurbs and they still come with a guarantee .

I like the look of the nano one from Argos but I'll need to check with him it's the right one. TBh he doesnt really listen to music so I'm surprised he's asked for one. I'm not buying it unless he really wants it.
