I have a Bjorn baby carrier from my first child but no instructions or anything. At what age can I put my DD in the carrier can anyone tell me please?

I seem to recall using mine virtually from birth (with baby facing into me of course!).

I think you can use them from birth too. It's not like she's going to be any more uncomfortable in one of those than she was inside you, is it?

swiperfox · 26/03/2005 17:05

As long as it's got a bit to support behind their head I think pretty much from birth, then as soon as they can hold their head up properly they can face forward.

from birth! Baby facing you.

thanks guys. Think dd might be going into it tonight if the colic rears its ugly head again.

I got leant a very old baby bjorn and didn't know how to even put it on. Their website was really good and they sent me instructions for the old model even sent me extra leg straps (I think they were to be used if the baby was under a certain weight)

dd spent most of her day in the baby bjorn. From about 4 months or sometimes earlier depending on head control they can face outwards. Then I graduated to a sling when the carrier got to small.

perhaps i tempted fate by asking this question this afternoon as so far, DD has been down in her moses basket for 10 mins and all's quiet. Give it another 30 mins and it could all go pear shaped of course and then i shall get the Baby carrier out for sure. Thanks for the replies everyone.
