Can anyone recommend a supplier? Ideally I'd like to choose my own paint colour - but don't want to spend a fortune ...

Opticolour based in Bath but can supply only or supply and fit in their area and anywhere within the M25. Have a standard set of colours or can make any colour based on your paint colour.Fabulous service, nothing was too much bother, and the guys that came to fit were ..... very attractive .

Oh - very late coming back to this but if you are still around:

Paid £4,000 for 3 bath/shower rooms, 1 utility (just round the sink), 1 downstairs toilet. For me, worth every penny. Easy to clean, looks fab. Been there nearly two years now and looks as good as the day it was fitted.

another option that we used to cover the backs of units in our kitchen is coloured perspex.

We found a great company:

www.plasticstockist.com

the have perspex cut to measure in a wide variety of colours and are really helpful on the phone.

We were also going to go for glass but as it would be a floor level I was a bit concerned about my toddlers bashing into it.
The perspex also worked out considerably cheaper and it has been a dream working with the product.

hope this helps.

we got quite a few samples posted to us before we decided on the colour but this company was the most helpful with regards cutting it to size and fab delivery service, next day usually.

Perhaps I could suggest Glass Inspirations?

They use low iron glass unlike many other suppliers that use standard float glass which gives a slightly green appearance.

Because of this their splashbacks are optically clear and give better colour matching and therefore an excellent result like they did on my kitchen and bathroom!
