Anyone ever used Schwarzkopf Live Xtreme Colors?

I have a tube of Scandal Red which has been lying here for a while (still in date). But there are no instructions inside. It is the one where you can add streaks of colour to your hair. Apparently it is not made any longer.

Am I meant to get my head wet first and then add it, or just use it on dry hair and wash off?

DD says Live colour is dry application.
(She also says her hair didn't take to it vey well)

Is it a sachet one? I used to love that, but they don't make it any more. I used to leave it on 20 mins.

Its in a tube with a applicator brush to comb through your hair.
