maxi cosi XP or XR?

i am about to buy my daughter a next stage car seat and want the safest, which seems to be the Maxi Cosi XP according to Mumsnet and which?

but they only do that one in black/grey and of course she wants a pink one - this is called a maxi cosi XR thou

does anyone know the difference please?

she is 4 in march does anyone think this is too soon - she is so squashed in her current one

This is the Rodi, yes? so she's 4?

apparently the Rodi XR is a newer version that has superseded the Rodi XP
