Can anyone advise me about Asda baby clothes sizes?

I have just discovered the Asda direct shop and I am amazed that you can get lovely little outfits for as little as £4 (is it ethical I wonder??)

However, they don't explain the sizing. Is 'first size' bigger or smaller than 'tiny baby' and would it fit a newborn?

Asda direct! My my I shall have to have a look. They do have some really nice stuff in my local store.

I think first size is equivalent to newborn and then the next up is 0-3 months. If I remember correctly.

Thanks cwtchy. Yes we don't have Asda near me and they have some really cute stuff.

first size I think is bigger than tiny baby which is meant for premmies

their sizes are normally pretty accurate for baby clothes too

My son was 6lb 15.5oz and all the first size stuff (newborn) was too big for him so I bought Tiny Baby which was fine but lasted up to about 2/3 weeks if that but for the price can't complain.

He is now 2.5YO and the sizes are bang on in ASDA.
