Can anyone reccomend some high powered rechargeable batteries for a digital camera ?

I have a Sony Cybershot camera and am having huge problems with batteries. Basically, if I use anything other than Duracell they last about 10 minutes if that.

I used Duracell on holiday and they lasted the whole week and longer but I can't afford to keep buying those.

Can you buy rechargeable ones suitable for digital cameras ??

I just tried our newly charged batteries that we use for the wii remotes in it and even they wouldn't work.

I used these people when I needed to get a new battery for my digi camera. I used them c'os a mate who does loads of photography reccommended them. they were dead helpful. Give them a call.

duracell do a rechargebale one now

We have the same problem, it seems a pack of 20 AAs from a poundshop will last as long as a £4 pack of duracells. Not eco friendly and a pain to keep changing them.

lithium batteries are supposedly the best.

I'm grateful as FIL is giving us his old camera which has a mains charger for xmas.

We had some of these and they were really good, lasted for ages until someone put them in the bin

i have rechargeable fuji and some kodak AA batteries, specifically made for digital cameras. You can get them in most electrical shops, or maybe tesco.

It's a Sony Cybershot we have and it came with it's own rechargable Cybershot batteries plus charger.
I can't get much else to work in it.
