If I buy a voucher, can it be used for any MP3 player?

no, only ipods.

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 16/12/2008 11:22

Oh ar$e. Is there an "any MP3 player equivalent? I have no idea whether this person has an iPod. Actually I have no idea if they have an MP3 player but I know my niece does (it's for her boyfriend as a token gift since he will be coming for Family Christmas)

You can only use it with ITunes, but I don't know whether you can then use the music you download on another MP3 player.

ChopsTheDuck · 16/12/2008 11:25

MM, I guess you could get ituens then they can burn it to disc. Lot of hassle though, an hmv voucher might be better.

IdrisTheDragon · 16/12/2008 11:26

You can download tunes from the hmv website

I can't be dealing with all this new fangled technology. What happened to 7 inch vinyl?

If you want to get this person a voucher get them one for Amazon or another online/high street shop where they can pick music or dvds or whatever. I have an ipod but only buy through itunes for individual tracks where I don't have any interest in a whole album by a band and it's only one or two, or for things I can't get hold of any other way at all. Personally I like CDs (actually I held out against moving from vinyl for a long time) and emusic but I think unless you know what someone really wants the flexibility of something like Amazon is better than download vouchers.

Oh, Amazon is a far better idea Thanks.
