which coffee machine for dh for xmas please ?

i am thinking of getting him one as he loves coffee and cappucinos
have no idea which would be any good
can anyone help please ?

I got DP this one for his birthday. It does filter coffee and expresso for cappuccinos, although we haven't tried the milk frothy thing yet.

I've just this morning (in fact) got DH the Bosch tassimo thingy, which uses those pod whatsits that mean you don't have to faff about cleaning filters (like the one I got him 2 years ago, which he has used 3 times). It also makes lattes and other "beverages." £100 in Debenhams minus 10% off today.

And PLEASE don't post that I could have got it for less at... wherever!

I asked a similar question earlier this year, and Cappucino recommended a stove top espresso maker and a mini whisk milk frother. Top recommendation on both counts!

We have this one although we shopped around and got it considerably cheaper than this! It's pretty good, takes beans and already ground coffee and does the frothy milk etc.
