Best sling for newborn and school runs?

Need one that's really easy to use from newborn, one they can sleep in and I can run round after my other two school-age children wearing, without worrying the baby will fall out

and even feed in, if possible

thanks

Get a Moby Wrap! Seriously comfortable and properly hands free. I got mine from baby-bean.com and I just posted a discount code in the money saving section.

I would second the moby wrap or a hugabub - very comfy, secure and they can sleep in it

thank you!

What about a closer sling? I had the same query for the school run and had the hugabub but didn't like tying it either. Haven't used a closer but it looks liuke it would be good and have seen lots of recommendations for it.

I found a pouch slng perfect til ds was about 4mths (though he was a HUGE 4mths). VERY easy, just put it on, him in, and go. I used a Murron's Pouch from Freedom slings on ebay. About £18- and gorgeous!

if it's only you using it and you're a 16 or under i'd recommend a tricotti - absolutely no faffing, easy in and out, easily portable etc. if you want to share it or the bf is really important i'd go for a close carrier - same idea as tricotti but with adjustable rings so can be used for a range of sizes and get extra degree of adjustment for perfect positioning for bf.

I like all those!

Tricotti is v appealing - I'm a size 10/12 (obv a pregnant 10/12 atm!)

but it would be good to have one dh could wear, so maybe the Closer one would be better...

Huggababy or Freedom ring sling. Adapts to fit you and your DH, and grows with your baby from newborn to 3yrs or so, and is simplicity it's self to out on, no tying, wrapping or faffing. Good for boobing in too.

Check out ebay for bargains.
