I have just had to order Dd1 her 4th pair of shoes/boots since Sept

She has so far ruined 1 pair of boots and 2 pairs of shoes, because she either walks so heavily on the heels that they go into a hole, or she kicks the fronts out of them.

Admittadly, this year she only had cheap shoes, but she has had Clarks before, and does the exact same thing.

She has had to wear my boots to school today.

Have ordered a pair of Skechers now, so we'll see how long they last.

Does anyone else have a dd that gets through footwear so quickly ??

i have a 7 year old son that does the same we're on about the fourth pair too.

Blimey ! I thought my DD was bad with hers. Her school shoes are wrecked already. TBH, they've been wrecked for about 3/4 weeks but I'm buggered if I'm paying out yet again this side of the new year term.

Thankfully they are still wearable, they just look a bit ermmmmmmmmmmm 'lived in'. All DD's female mates (Yr2) have immaculate dainty unscuffed shiny shoes, so God only knows what DD is doing to hers. £40 down the pan. What a waste.

I have no clue how dd's get so bad. She hates most sports so I know she doesn't spend her break time playing football in them or anything.

I will be sending her in wellies if she ruins this new pair within weeks.

Well the new shoes arrived and they fit, but guess what..........she hates them.

She now hates me, as I have said it is tough and she is wearing them, and have chucked all of the tatty, ruined ones out.
