AVENT Magic Cream or other anti 'windchapping' cream??

When DS was tiny we were given some Magic Cream in a baby hamper, it was great for preventing wind chapping/burning on delicate faces - including my own pink English Rose complexion.

We are off to Lapland at the weekend, I've packed sunscreen but actually it will only be light a few hours a day. Some anti wind burn is what we need.

Avent MC is now called soothing magic cream and looks different, does anyone know if it the same?

Do you know of any other similar products?

No idea but DD has had a stubborn patch of excema/dry, spotty skin on her cheeks for a few weeks and I've tried all sorts of cream on it. Since last week I've been putting the famous Waitrose Bottom Butter on it before bed and it has cleared up. As you are travelling to Lapland you'll need something that isn't water-based as it could freeze - so the BB would be great or I found plain old Vaseline did the trick with DD when we went in January. I'm very - hope you have a great time!

Thank you mejon, I have BB.

I always put vaseline in the outside corners of my crowsfeet eyes when skiing, as my eyes water in the cold and it gets sore.

I will take both, sould have it cracked by day 3 as to most useful product!

Thanks again.

Strangely enough I have found Avent nipple cream to be the beat for chapped lips etc...its fab! I also like the magic cream as a multipurpose cream.

Weleda Baby calendula cream here too, fab stuff.

I'm off to W'rose later, will look for weather cream - thank you, that sounds exactly the right stuff.

The Dc and I may survive the 5 days without further broken viens!
