in love with my new teutonia lambda!

I am totally in love with my teutonia lambda. I had a pilko pramette before which I hated as it was really clunky and not rear facing. Then we got a bugaboo bee ... but by 6 months my dd has almost outgrown it, also it fell over on a bus and the chassis broke, which scared the living daylights out of me! So I was going to go for the icandy apple but went for this instead -

  • it's rear-facing or front-facing
  • really long handles that even my 6'6" husband can push!
  • really comfy pushchair for dd who is, like her daddy, going to be pretty tall!
  • big shopping basket
  • raincover comes in a little bag that clips on underneath so doesn't take up space in basket
  • hood has uv50 protection
  • really easy to take apart.

Sorry to be so sad but there we go...it's love..has anyone else got one of these?

we've got the spirit s3 and it's great. love it for all the reasons you have said. took me ages to find a rear facing 3 wheeler.

Do you have to take it apart to fold it?

mummy2isla · 09/12/2008 17:44

yes but I'm not too bothered about that due to all the stuff above. I never thought I would be so excited about a pram. Sad!

i don't have to take mine apart to fold it forward or rear facing. dp could even fold it with the carry cot on. i could but couldn't lift the 2 as it was too heavy.

i love the look of this where did you get it from?? cant find any stockists!

nicm · 12/12/2008 17:53

hi

i got mine from ping pong online but think with the euro exchange rate it is really expensive now. they do have stockists in the uk now i think. have to say as well that my front wheel has a clicking noise in it now and ping pong have so far ignored our emails so don't think i'd recommend them for after care service unfortunately because they were very efficient when we were buying!

Paul Stride in York sell them or there's a shop in the Wirral (sorry for 5 month late response)

I love Teutonia. We've got the old Mistral, sadly it's a four wheeler so difficult to steer now ds is bigger...if only they made swivel wheel adaptors!

High quality stuff though, really well made and thought out.
