Free gifts with new mobiles - does this deal seem ok?

Don't know if I'm being a bit thick and also if there's a good reason why I shouldn't go for this deal...

Nice phone, T-Mobile, £20 per month with 200 texts and 200 mins plus free Nintendo DS. 18 month contract.

does this seem reasonable?

Yeah I saw the free wiis and PS3s for the higher tariffs, but I'm fine with £20pm... keep waiting for the catch!... Like is T-Mobile totally rubbish or something?

My friend upgraded on Saturday, latest Sony Ericsson phone, £30 per month with 700 free minutes and 500 texts and got a free Nintendo Wii thrown in.

18 month contract too - does anyone do 12 month contracts anymore?

Yeah they do 12 months but it's more expensive. I found this deal through tesco.com
