A question about Crocs!

DS has some with the fleece inserts which smell DISGUSTING. Have tried to get the clip thingies apart to take the inserts out to wash but have failed miserably. Anyone managed it?

I have a feeling it may be just brute force required but don't want to break the little thingies.

I'd just chuck the whole thing in the washing machine - I wash smelly trainers in it all the time.

OK, haven't washed DDs yet but I think you just flip off the bit that covers the heel and then gently slide the liner around the crocs logo like you would a button through a buttonhole. If you keep your finger on the Crocs button it should be a bit easier to work it off. Brute force definitely not required!
To put it back on you put your hand in it like a glove and put it in the shoes making sure it fits right to the toe and then to the above in reverse.

Tried all that SweetApril but no joy!

Did jeee's suggestion instead - all seems fine. They are drying on the radiator.
