Any recommendations? I'd like it to be easy to use, good screen and errr that's it.

Which is a bit like asking for the moon on a stick as far as I can tell.

The cheap nokia ones are good.

Don't get siemens or any of those flashy ones you slide up, etc - my mother (in her 70's) couldn't even turn the one she was sold on - we had to take it back and change it for a cheap Nokia!

i agree - the nokia one - the original one or similar. will have to be second hand, and presumable v.cheap but my gran manages really well with hers.

cool thanks for that. I'll go and look in a shop. It' crazy that there isn't a 'simple' phone out there

I've just bought one as a "family" phone - a basic Nokia with no camera from Carphone Warehouse for £9.75 (or thereabouts).

www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/7523984/Samsung-B130-T-Mobile-Pre-Pay-Mobile-Phone/Product.htm l

Easy to use, not too small and a good price.
