Anyone had similar problems with P&T Front Wheel???

right having a nightmare with the p&t, bought at end of August from Oxford Pram Centre, when we first got it the front wheel kit was corroded (great eh on a £385 pushchair brand new) so they sent a new wheel bearing kit which dh fitted (with much swearing!) the new bearing kit at less than 3m old has now also corroded and a third one we have just received. the front wheel keeps continually locking and it won't swivel properly to the left.

I know we are going to return it but that means paying carriage to them (checked their t&c's) and them having to send to p&t to check could be without it for weeks!! don't know what to do!

Yikes.

Have to say touch wood no corrosion and it has gone to the beach several times and not been washed.

They should supply a temp buggy ?? which you could collect when you drop off your faulty pram.

Sounds like the whole front assembly and wheel need replacing.

Sorry

Hi - I had to replace the front part of our e3 p&t at one stage. I bought the whole J frame with new wheel attached from out n about for roughly 12 - 17 pounds (sorry can't remember exactly - was over a year ago.)

Ring or email out n about - with your problem - might be cheaper to order direct than pay carriage to oxford pram centre.

take it back to oxford pram centre
they have to sort it out for you, it is still within warranty. don't be fobbed off, your contract is with them, not P&T. They have to sort it out with P&T on your behalf.

I can't 'take it back' as they are over a 100 miles from me! typical, no pram shops where i live so have to buy online but bought from a proper shop. there c/s has been v.good so far so hope they get it sorted!

On Martin Lewis (Money Saving Expert) says your contract is with the shop not the manufacturer so they should replace it!
