Quick question about crayons!

Hi. Not sure if I'm being a bit dense but is it OK for an almost 2-yo to have pencil crayons? She loves colouring/scribbling but just has wax crayons and I wanted to get her some pencil ones for a change. They would only be used under supervision. TIA!

It's fine for a nearly 2 year old to have pencil crayons. Or anyway, both of mine has and have lived to see the day

my older DS's have pencil crayons (and felt tips, gel pens, wax crayons) - DS3 has tried to eat all of them on occasions (it was wax crayons this week so lovely colourful nappies ) - he seems fine

Fab! Thanks. Does seem a silly question but she's also fond of a crayon snack and I was wondering about pencils being made of lead. They're probably made of something much more sensible in this modern age!
