I cought ds a snowsuit, he has already outgrown it, despite it being 6-12 and he being 8 months

I would say it would be fine for average winter weather, if he is in his pram with a footmuff on, he would be fine. When it is freezing you might want something a bit warmer though?

SeamusTheElf · 05/12/2008 19:47

fine with a sleepsuit under I think. And a cosy toes/blanket.

arabicabean · 05/12/2008 20:53

If you haven't placed the order yet, you could consider the Spotty Otter fleece lined splash suit. I have this and it is a lovely product. Very easy to get the baby into (one long zip down each side) and very weatherproof and warm.

littleducks · 06/12/2008 11:09

the spotty otter one looks great but £50!!! {shock] please tell me you bought for somewhere for less than the google results as i cant stretch that far

Hi littleducks - I bought for £48.49, so not much less I'm afraid (from cozymole.co.uk). They have lots of things to choose from and offer excellent customer service. I also bought the Muddy Puddles Rainflex All-In-One from them. This is fleece lined and very warm. The fabric is lovely and soft and flexible (£29.95). Hope you find something suitable.

don't order yet there are cheaper ones, let me find the thread i put up about jojo suits a couple weeks ago, someone found a fab alternative for me!

littleducks · 06/12/2008 14:52

I posted on your thread nicola!!!! And am still faffing about!

i just order jojo fleece one (the £34 non waterproof one) for £20 with free p and p, as the are 30% now combined with the code from mumsnet code boaerd mtd82 just in case anyone else wants a bargain!

had to get the 'stripe' one as the 'nautical had run out

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 17:23

oh no way, i might get another which codes exactly did you use to get one for £20? as i would love one in a bigger size as fast growing out of his 18-24 i got chocolate spot its lovely!!

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 17:37

fab they are on sale, i've just ordered another suit in 2-3 and some polartec trousers. bargain!

littleducks · 06/12/2008 18:47

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 19:12

im going to ring them and see if i can change my order in the morning, as i want a different colour now. the choc spot is lovely! ds gets alot of compliments. how old is your dc? as at that price i would get one for next year (my youngest is 17m and they don't do a 3-4 for next year ) they have really good resale value on ebay too!!

littleducks · 06/12/2008 19:28

ds is 8 months but i got 12-18 and was hoping it might fit next year (he will be 18 months next oct) with wellies on, i was tempted to het one in 18-24 though but wasnt sure how much he would need an all in one...but i suppose boys potty train later than girls (my big prob with dd is freezing toilets and complicated clothes!)

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 19:32

oh yeah, didn't think about that! as my ds2 has been painfully slow potty training, and he's three in three weeks!! so ds3 at 18m hasn't crossed my mind lol!! (maybe they will train together in the new year )

muddleduck · 06/12/2008 21:00

Hi,
Highjack alert!
I'm also looking for a 18-24 snowsuit (preferably waterproof) and you ladies seem to have found some bargains - can you point me in the right direction, I can't quite follow what's been said

thanks!

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 21:18

theres a brand beginning with k i can't think of its on another blooming thread i've been looking for lol!! i can't find it now, they did fleece lined waterproof snowsuits for £20 which i thought was good will carry on looking!

littleducks · 06/12/2008 21:38

the ones on sale at jojo arent waterproof but you could use the 15% off code for the one i linked to in op

or waterproof fleece lined here check splashsuit catergory for unlined etc

these are waterproof and fleece

if you dont need waterproof just fleece but jojo ones (£20 with sale and 15% off combined) arent in size colour you want, these are lovely at muddypuddles are an absolute bargain at £18 but £3.50 postage

OP posts:
littleducks · 06/12/2008 21:43

sorry the code for 15% off (which can be combined with sale or used on waterproof one in op) is mtd82

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 21:45

this is one i was thinking of earlier
but only larger sizes

littleducks · 06/12/2008 21:47

you want any more ideas please post as i have trawled net recently so can prob link to others if req

nicolamumof3 · 06/12/2008 21:50

i wish i'd come to you weeks ago before spending £34 on jojo suit little ducks! those muddypuddle fleece suits are gorgeous!! i do love my choc spot one tho, gets lets of compliments

muddleduck · 07/12/2008 10:20

Hi Thanks!
I think it really does need to be waterproof. DS2 has one which has had lots of use but the zip has just gone (we were given it 2nd hand and it's on its 5th boy!)

I really like the jojo one but they are out of 18-24.

Am tempted by the muddy puddles one but they are a bit more money that I'd like to spend.

Maybe I need to trawl ebay?
