Do Maclaren buckles loosen over time?

I just bought a Maclaren XT - my only gripe is that the buckle is very stiff to undo. Should I return it or is this something that will resolve itself with use?

After several goes I can just about get it undone...

I've had my Quest for about a year and a half.... and still struggle to undo it.

nope they neve rget easie rto undo but if u get a old style harness they r easier

nope. My mum still can't open ours (slightly arthritic fingers). We bought it for DS1, now 4.
