anyone have one?

I need one to chuck DD2 into for the pram to go on school run as sometimes she gets taken up in her pyjamas

I really struggled to find one for DD(2.2) - in the end I asked my SIL cos they live in skiiing-land and she dug out the ski suit which DNeice had at that age. Unfortunately DD says it is her DCousin's and has so far refused to try it on

Asda used to do really cheap ski wear - we don't live near one any more so I have no idea if they are this year.

dizzydixies · 03/12/2008 15:10

something like this here but not the same price tag and obviously bigger sized!

hi SS!! I have one for DD1 from TKMaxx which is fab but its far too big and they don't have any in DD2's size

tis FAR too cold up here - this is for under the cosey toes on the pram as well

savoycabbage · 03/12/2008 15:15

I got a 2-3 years snow suit in M&S last year.

ilovemydog · 03/12/2008 15:18

waterproofs safe as houses and all for you Stealth as I have ones from DD1!!

savoy thank you will check out their website, esp if they're 20% off again tomorrow

stealthsquiggle · 03/12/2008 15:23

these people maybe? Not much cheaper than the one you found though.

I think second hand is the way to go - these things don't get worn enough to be worn out IYSWIM.

MrsBadger · 03/12/2008 15:24

you might have missed them this year but Tchibo and Lidl / ALdi are usu good for this kind of thing - dd has an ace fleece-lined rain set from Tchibo

thanks Sazz but they only go up to aged 2 and DD2 is quite big and Vertbaudet/la redoute are always small made

MrsBadger I'm not sure what Tchibo is sorry although shall have peek at lidl if I don't find one online sooner - why oh why do I wait until we're threatened with being snowed in until I arrange this?!?

stealth have you had something from them? there is only one available in stock aged 2-3 and although it looks reasonable sizes am never too sure!

OP posts:
stealthsquiggle · 03/12/2008 15:36

No, sorry, dixie - it was one of the options I was looking at before SIL came up trumps.

EachPeachPearMum · 03/12/2008 15:38

Oh- I love Hanna Andersson stuff! its so gorgeous...unfortunately the pound tanking it's not the best time to order from US.
