Am I the only person who can't get the straps done up on the 2nd seat? They just don't seem long enough when threaded through the seat cover - I accepted this when it was on the front with 3yo in it, but now have the same problem with 6mo - can't be right, surely?

hmmm. They go round my nearly 2yo easily enough with 2 coats on. I just got it out to look, there is 4 inches or so not used.

Do you have it on the right height setting, that seems to make a lot of difference.

If it really is a problem then there are D rings so you can use your own harness but you shouldn't have to resort to that.

it is on the right height setting...are the bottom straps on yours threaded through the two slots at waist level moomaa?

yes, the straps go through the chair at waist level, through the clip that goes into the middle bit, then into a clip (that you can adjust the length with) that goes into the shoulder bit. Hard to explain but not sure what you could be doing wrong. Have you definately let all the slack out on the adjuster clip?

You've got to be able to strap your kids in - go somewhere that sells them (Mothercare?) and ask them what they suggest?

I just googled some reviews of the vibe and some others are complaining the straps aren't long enough. Did you get yours early? I'm wondering if the early ones might have a fault??

You're not the only one. Look on Google to find out who the British distributor for Phil n Ted are (I did this and have lost the details) and they will send you some strap extenders for free!
