Are you sure they haven't been and gone?

Here (Herts/Beds borders) the Christmas slots became available about 3 weeks ago, and have now all gone.

Good luck!

I booked mine about 6 weeks ago. I think they all booked now sorry. I did not receive usual email this year saying I could book I just saw it by chance one week.

The ones for 22nd, 23rd and 24th have seem to have gone for our area. There are a few on 20th or 21st available

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/12/2008 12:17

I am blooooody fuming!
I spoke to them last Thursday- they said to me that they release them at different times in different areas and it was a question of keep checking.

Like a proper desperate working mum- was checking various times a day. Got an email on Saturday morning 9.22 am saying that slots were available in my area. Had a look at 11 am. ALL GONE!!!

I am also a reqular client for years- not just for Christmas! Well, f*cked off!

dinny · 01/12/2008 13:13

the slots only appeared on the website today but there is NOTHING available - so annoyed

At the end of last week I went on Ocado to see what was available over the Christmas period, and the only dates with some slots are the weekend of the 20/21, which is when we'll be making a pre-Christmas visit to my parents (most of them cost £9.99 over that weekend too).

Instead, I've just booked a 10-11pm 'no delivery charge' slot on Friday 19th - if you do that, most food will still be okay to cover the Christmas period, if you make use of the freezer for meaty and fishy things; the problem items will be vegetables, fruit and milk, which I guess I'll get locally nearer the time.

It is a pain though - it's not just Christmas foods; it's also about getting a normal food delivery.

6 weeks ago they werent' available in my area...! I am just envisaging myself 6 months pregnant with a todler going to my nearest Waitrose and buying food for 12! A super experience! Thanks Ocado!

Get Ocado to deliver all your non-perishable goods on the 19th. Then you just have to shop for meat and dairy (veg from 19th will be fine if kept in the fridge).

yeah, snap (heavily preggers) SS!

may look into Saino's....

good idea, Artichokes
