Could this be the utterly fabulous tent? I really, really want one to hide in during the summer with a good book and glass of wine.

WideWebWitch · 19/03/2005 19:07

Oh I love the look of that tent too! It's here

LGJ · 19/03/2005 19:10

Do you think she is doing it for atTENTion ??

Sorry couldn't resist.

WigWamBam · 19/03/2005 19:30

marthamoo · 19/03/2005 19:34

marthamoo · 19/03/2005 19:35

yoyo · 19/03/2005 19:35

As a matter of fact it is so wonderful I'd like one set up permanently in my house. Just a special place for me. I am now in intent on getting one.

hermykne · 19/03/2005 19:37

about ten yrs ago i was in her shop with my mum and we were hoking and poking away at various bits, she was there and left us to it. a salesman came in and she brought him downstairs, where we were, because there was a large cutting table, and he laid out his samples.
they started talking prices and my mother and me nearly fainted the stuff was for 3/4/5 £, and here we were looking to buy it at maybe 17/18 then, and she didnt seem to notice us listening, eavesdropping naturally!
i was like where is that guys factory, he had a northern accent so i was listning hard for an address.
so cath kidston has made a packet
and i was really surprised that she didnt design the cloth designs, she gave the impression she did

JoolsToo · 19/03/2005 19:38

chuck out yer chintz and make a tent out of it

cupcakes · 19/03/2005 19:43

I have one of these tents! It came in the post last week and I love it! It is going to be up in the garden whenever we are not away with it (as this is our big plan for this summer).
Was really surprised at my dh for buying it as he is a bit of a tent snob (it's made by Eurohike) but we both love it. We are also down on the waiting list for when the chairs come in.

snafu · 19/03/2005 19:46

OMG, how completely fabulous is that? How much is it? That would be perfect for my garden - somewhere to escape to....

JoolsToo · 19/03/2005 19:47

come on you can't have a flowery tent

thats just pretend camping

snafu · 19/03/2005 19:50

But what I really want is the flowery caravan on the home page.

JoolsToo · 19/03/2005 19:51

you're kidding!

JoolsToo · 19/03/2005 19:52

you're not

snafu · 19/03/2005 19:53

No, I'm not kidding

Camping, schmamping - this would be more like living in the Magic Roundabout...

Davros · 20/03/2005 09:51

Oooh, its gorgeous, very decatent! When I was in her shop a while ago I found it very enjoyable but didn't want to actually buy anything.

Pinotmum · 20/03/2005 09:53

That's the one for me - I only do pretend camping .

Pinotmum · 20/03/2005 09:54

I need a hammock to match now - any recommendations?

misdee · 20/03/2005 10:02

i'd love a cath kidston style buggy. think how girly and fab that would be.

think there is a car seat somewhere thats cath kidston, or her style anyway.

bea · 20/03/2005 10:11

.... looked at the t-shirts... Large - size 14??? dear oh dear!!! i must be in the size of an elephant brigade then!!!!

pah! cath kidston schmidston!

marthamoo · 20/03/2005 10:51

Oh oh oh the caravan! I'm in love!

Carla · 24/03/2005 19:18

No, no, no! In a local department store today ..... a Cath Kidston telescopic umbrella, made by Fulton. Whatever next? Look out for CK kettles, ring binders, propelling pencils at an Asda near you. Why do they get soooooo greedy? She's going the way of Linda Barker, you mark my words!
