Calling all Vauxhall Astra owners

Am seriously considering getting one and wondered whether they are good family cars. I am looking at a X reg and 51 Reg tomorrow.

We've got an Astra estate as a company car and it's a great workhorse, never misses a beat. It's comfy, nice to drive and easily swallows up the luggage when we go away. Hth!

we have an astra estate and it is great tbh not the fanciest car on the road but it is like suedonim says a great working car with more space than most Very reliable and cheap parts too

we have a bog std model. 52 reg. we both LOVE it - great sized boot; fits our bulky mamas and papas travel system + more stuff. i think it looks really nice too.

I've had 4 Vauxhall Astras over the years - does that answer your question . The most recent one was a 52 reg. I've always found them to be reliable, easy to drive and, for the diesel ones anyway, they had great fuel economy. I would recommend them.

ooooooo get a new astra. they are lovely. will be sad to see mine go next week.

I can't get a new, new Astra misdee. Will have to be about 4 years old.

We have a P-reg, 5 door, diesel Astra and LOVE it! VERY easy to drive, terrific fuel economy, and good sixed boot.

The only thing is that I am too scared to drive it as it is so big.
