DD is 5 and has completely outgrown her pram, but it her favoutite and most played with toy, so I think I will get her a bigger one for Christmas.

I live in middle of nowhere, and when I go shopping next week I will only have a limited amount of time in town. Therefore I need to know whats out there before I go shopping.

So, which prams are biggest?
I think she would prefer a pram, not a buggy...as she uses it to carry all sorts of stuf in! (although I'm flexable on this)

as a lone parent price is hugely important at the moment...for example, I definately will not be able to afford something like silvercross at £100

any suggestions?

My dd has one similar to this. Dd's was a mamas and papas one and it came as part of a set which had a lot of extras and cost less than this one though - Unfortunately they don't seem to sell it now Anyway, she loves it!

Also, this is a great bargain, although it is a buggy

KnickKnack · 25/11/2008 21:50

oh cool, the silvercross one looks ideal (although it doesnt say how high it goes).

It has an adjustable handle height. I'm sure it will be great for a 5 yr old - the age suitablity says from 5 years plus too

bugger...I have a voucher for Argos, and they are out of stock of both the mamas/papas and silvercross larger prams [aaargh emoticon]

John Lewis do a nice pram,it's about £45. Too expensive? Otherwise The Entertainer stock a large selection of prams, as do Toys R us. Some of the mamas and papas ones are for older children. Woolies stock them too.

KnickKnack · 25/11/2008 22:28

thanks MincePie.
Unfortunately there there are no John Lewis or Entertainer near me
and it will be next week before I can get to Woolies and I doubt if they will have anything any prams left by then!

John Lewis do free delivery I think!!!

My d has a Silver Cross Ranger Junior. Think it was about 30 quid. Handle is adjustable and is on lowest setting for dd (3 yrs) so shoudl suit a 5 yr old. Got it from Argos.

KnickKnack · 26/11/2008 14:36

mince...I'm in Ireland, we dont have JL.

mouse...local Argos is out of stock of all the bigger looking prams. I'm hoping they will be back in next week (or is that wishful thinking at this time of year? )

DD is getting the Silver Cross Junior Ranger for Xmas this year.
It has been a bit of a pain to get hold of as it is out of stock in lots of places.
Here

mincepiemadness · 26/11/2008 15:17

Do you know anyone in England who could buy then post to you?

KnickKnack · 26/11/2008 15:40

ex lives in Englnd, but it would cost a lot to post.(and he's a bit useless he probably wouldnt have the spare cash to buy it/post it anyways)

I think I'll just check out toys r us and smyths next week, and hope either one has a mamas/papas or silvercross in stock.

Unless anyone is up for the challange of finding an online supplier who delivers free to Ireland???

or does anyone know what the chances are of Argos having it in stock soon? I've rarely shopped there so have no idea.

I'm so chuffed with this
Its normally around £70, I bought it in a small local shop for equivalent of £34
They had reduced it because it was last years pattern.
Silvercross pram, bag, parasol, car seat, and a really decent size.
DD will lurve it
