has anyone sussed out the cheapest place to buy Aptimil by any chance?
I notice that not all places sell it for a start but wondered if anyone has noticed it cheaper in one particular supermarket or chemist.

Dont know if it applies everywhere but our local health centre sells all the different formulas for £5 no matter which one you get. Very big saving if your baby is on aptamil. Might be worth asking.

our local health centre doesn't do aptamil forward . the cheapest I've found is Tescos, and sometimes Safeways used to have big discounts on the ready mixed cartons....

Sorry didn't realise you meant forward, no ours only does all the first milks too.

what's the Forward? I didn't know there were different ones. I'm talking about the one for a newborn plus.

forward is for 6 months plus.
there is legislation regulating the price of formula for babies under 6 months so you'll be lucky if you find it differently priced in different places. it should all be the same.

Have you tried Asda? You could always have a look on-line at www.asda.co.uk. I found Asda the cheapest for formula.

I think most health centres sell first milks and they are cheaper than anywhere else. My local clinic only sells them on certain days though. Ask your health visitor.

thanks girl;s. It seems my health centre no longer does the milk but I shall check the online prices for the supermarkets. I hope I dont sound tight but we'll get through so much of it I thought it worth shopping round for eh best deal.
