Which model do you have?

I need a new vacuum and have decided on a Dyson over the other types.

I'm just wondering which model would anyone recommend.

Been looking a the ones with HEPA filter and anti-allergy although it is only DH with allergy to pet hair and we only have gerbils! Is it worth getting the anti-allergy anyway?

DCO7 (Animal) - great for dog hair. Used on carpet, floor tiles, and laminate (was good on wooden floor in old house too).

we have got a dc14 and it is fab 3 years old and still picks up fab most the vacuems i have had b4 have only lasted 4mths i would always choose a upright tho as i find u have to put in alot of effort with a cylinder

I have a Dyson All Floors (which has a HEPA filter). I love it - it sucks up the dust that gets stuck in between the floorboards of my parquet floor and it removes the dust from my wall mouldings and it takes the dust off the velvet sofas .

We have a DC20 which is great!
I hadn't considered a cylinder one before we went to the shop ... and found that they only had DC20s in the sale So we bought it and now I wouldn't have an upright if you paid me
