Can anyone recommend the McLaren Quest or Techno XLR Strollers?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a McLaren buggy and can't decided between the quest, or paying more for the techno XLR (which comes with footmuff). Any opinions would be appriciated.
There are currently offering in Boots and Mothercare, so I need to make a decision quickly.

Cheers

yes I have both

xlr - has everything you need on it - very good fold over hood, easy to collapse, moves very well , quite light, very sturdy wheels/steering (if slightly heavy -its a bit tricky one handed)

quest, lighter than xlr and poss easier to steer one handed (xlr is not so good one handed), doesnt fold as flat (may not be problem if older baby - I used xlr from birth so wanted it for that) and has old style rain hood (ie you have to fold it over - its one of those transparent ones - quite godo but more of a faff than built in xlr one).

if youw ant something light for older child I'd go for quest but if you want somethign that can fold right back and is less hassle (althoguh slightly heavier) I'd go for xlr

Thx Poppy, I think I'll go for the XLR, even though he's an older baby (11monnths), I like the idea of the padded seat, and I'd also want to buy the footmuff, so pushes the price up. Foot muff included ont eh XLR. Hope it fits in my boot!
