Unusual birthday presents!

Sick to death of the vast amount of toys ds already has, I want to get him some different bits for his first birthday.

We do lots of activities, like we have a baby yoga video we do together, we go to monkey music (going to get him the cd and monkey) but I don't know what else to get him!

Any ideas?

what age is he?

lunavix · 16/03/2005 20:07

he will be one

He's just started moving so he's not interested in toys - and we have enough of them. I'd like to get him some nice bits, just no idea what.

baby mozart video ..both my kids adored it.what about paints..its never too early for craft in my opinion! musical instruments.. any pull along/push along as he`s now mobile

can you take him out somewhere for the day instead?
For ds1's first birthday we took him to an aquarium and bought him a toy there, then out for lunch and home for cake.
At 1 they don't know it's their birthday anyway.
If it's something to unwrap then maybe something for his room - a picture? a name plaque? jigsaw with his name on?
Or something for the garden in the summer as he'll be more active then.
