Can anyone recommend/comment on the Bob the Builder Snap Trax Garage Set?

It's being heavily advertised and my 3-year old longs for it, but I have read some negative online reviews...

Don't have one myself but have seen one. Looked rubbish, tbh. The Bob toys that you get with it (Lofty, Scrambler etc) are good though - very sturdy and well made. I'd just get those (or some of the other friction vehicles) instead.

I got a postman pat snap trax for my DS a few years back, he was about 3. Its very fiddly to put together, not something they can do on their own, and does unsnap all the time. Now hes older he can do it himself, but has lost interest. Get Brio, or something similar like tesco or elc make. Thats kept DS going for 3.5 years, and family add to it at christmas and birthdays. Much better value (maybe not mega expensive Brio!) and amuses him for days.
