Hi all - shameless recommendation for a baby bouncer (for newborn/xmas present?) - my friend has made this beautiful wooden bouncer - it's sold through babiesrus - have a look, it's gorgeous - i love the fact it folds flat and wish something so well-designed had been available when i bought my very unwieldy wire thing!!

Koto Laminated wooden baby bouncer
suitable from birth to approx six months.
Light cream coloured Corduroy padded seat cover.
Seat cover is removable for cleaning (hand cleaning recommended) as it poppers onto wooden frame
Removable toy arm with a traditional wooden toy mobile with four soft corduroy teddy toys.
Fold flat for storage and transportation.
Natural bounce due to the laminated shape of wood.
2 non slip feet.
Complies to BS EN 12790
Non toxic finish
£89.99 - reduced to £69.99
Available from Babies R Us (which you find inside a Toys R us)- note the smaller Babies R Us dont stock the Koto bouncer

It looks nice but nothing bounces quite like a metal framed bouncer, which can be taken apart to store.

somthing like this

make sure it has a deep seat bit because my friend had one which didnt and her baby would keep falling to one side

The wire frames makes it so easy to roc with your foot and can do it when you are eating your dinner without much effort

but £80 for a babybouncer . £80 even £60 reduced....

I can be known to spend xcess on my lo's but not that on a bouncer that will be used a handful of times and imo never see's the lo to 6 months..

I had bouncer's with dd and ds, waste of money imo. sorry....

i bought a fisherprice aquarium one for dd
cgi.ebay.co.uk/FISHER-PRICE-BABY-BOUNCER-AQUARIUM-PATTERN_W0QQitemZ300275168653QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK ToysGamesToysCA?hash=item300275168653&trksid=p3286.c0.m14&trkparms=72%3A1121%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A1 2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

really good as bar at front played nice music and fishes moved around dd was transfixed

wooden one does look lovely think that a metal frame would definetly bounce better dds bounced really well and cost £40
