has anyone ever had a "wheatbag" animal and are they ok for kids and do they last?

You mean the wheatie tOys you put in the microwave? DD1 has had Hot Ted for nearly 3 years (since she was 2) and loves it, especially when she's poorly. Don't think they should be given to LOs under 1 and be careful not to overheat it.

do you men the ones you warm in the microwave? we have had a beddybear one for dd since she was 4 last xmas....its great

I agree - dd2 has one and loves it. Hers is called Sleepy Bear and you put the whole bear in the micrwave - which is better than the previous one we had where you had to take the wheat bag out and heat seperately.

Right well,thanks everyone.Now...can anyone recommend a good company to buy from? In other words,good quality "animals"?
I have 10yr old dd;9yr old ds;8yr old dd2...was thinking about stocking pressies???

I got ds and dd a microwaveable bear for £10 each a couple of years ago. The whole bear goes in the microwave and they love them esp whan it's getting colder or they are ill def worth it!
