If you're considering getting a pushchair at all, get this one.

I am taking it to bed with me tonight

I just wish I had got one before ds was born, and I wouldn't have had to bother trying out the millions of other buggies and prams we got through. I am in

lurrrrve.

Oh do us a link to the one you decided on!
I have a mb terrain double with single carrycot and love it, got it v. cheap from here, but i would love an urban double but they are far too expensive!

lisad123 · 18/11/2008 16:45

knew you would, they are wonderful.I have decided to keep mine, just cant part with it. But have put matrska covers on ebay.

Flightattendant4 · 18/11/2008 18:22

Oh I love the terrain too 4. I would like both but not enough children to justify it!

Lisa - saw your covers, they're lovely. I think Matroshka is very pretty.

Here's the link

Get the snazzy new website! mm-mm

I've written a review for it on here but it needs edited and so on before they'll publish it.

Got it from Chariots in the end - they did a brill deal for us - really excellent service. I now feel I must have at least one more child to justify expense!!

(overdraft is appalling)

I got a 2nd hand urban from here and love it. Would like to get a new one if we have another child, depending on whether we can afford it.

EachPeachPearMum · 18/11/2008 23:02

Glad you're so pleased FLight!

Oh, second hand ones are pretty much as good, they don't lose their niceness really do they? my old one was a £20 buy it now on ebay - which made it a bit special - but I had other buggies then and he was much smaller and it seemed not as useful as the big prams then. I was a wally to sell it really. But I got ds1 a brand new pushchair when he was 6 weeks old, and felt so guilty about doing so that I tried to sell it for the next 6 months and then resigned myself to using it, and it was brilliant (it was a cosatto all terrain thing, v posh at the time!) and it was a sound investment as we walked everywhere - I used to carry bricks in the basket, it was that good.
I kind of yearned to get ds2 somethine really nice as well - ok it is very indulgent and I'll have to pay it off, but I really hate the trek to school using the heavy old buggy and up that hill twice a day is no joke!

I guess I can sell it on if I don't have any more babies. (grabs DP unceremoniously)

the bricks bit sounds odd - I meant it was very strong! carried a couple of cast iron safes in there once as well. I will NOT be doing that to the mB!

Ah, this is a lovely tread, I'm v pleased for you!

If only more people could see how wonderful MBs are, there would be far less dissatisfaction in the world of pram buying!!

Flightattendant4 · 19/11/2008 18:01

I know Tea&cake. I am thinking of getting t shirts printed.

and a stall in the town centre with, you know, leaflets
