Has anyone else noticed that the 4 packs of Waitrose baby wipes used to contain 320 wipes, but they have changed it to 288 at the same price!
That's more than a 10% price increase...

no, I hadn't because I use flannels and water, which are free

go to Asda?

ohdearwhatamess · 18/11/2008 10:32

I'd noticed that. Very annoying, but they're the only ones I've tried that don't give ME eczema when I use them (on the dcs).

Go to Asda and buy wipes that aren't biodegradable, un-fragranced and hypoallegenic?

Oh and lugging dirty flannels and water when I'm out is really hygenic isn't it?

No thanks

wipes won't biodegrade anyway in landfill so unless you put them on a compost heap then i wouldn't worry about that aspect. so in that case i'd suggest pampers sensitive - always on offer and unfragranced and hypoallergenic

although to be honest i mainly use flannels and water. they're really not that messy or horrid to carry around or wash, and flannels are much better at cleaning a baby's bum or face then wipes as they aren't so slippery.

i use the waitrose wipes but hadn't noticed -i think they are reasonable anyway - i try and stock up when they are £1 a pack. pampers are awful - they just slide off the bum and end up smearing everything iykwim!
