please help me my baby is 10 weeks old and i am thinking of getting a fisherprice jumperoo for him

now on the fisherprice website it says it is suitable from when baby can hold up head unassisted

on the argos website and others it says from when they can sit unaided and then on some it says from 6 months

but on a fair few it says from when they can hold their heads up

HELP???

which is correct he weighs 13lbs now and can holdhis own head up and would love it as he likes to jig himselfup and down - but if they are only from 6 months or from when they can sit unaided i can;t see much point in getting one as the max weight is 25lbs so he prob wouldn;t be in it for long

has anyone any idea or an alternative safe play sort of thing - i have a three year old crazy dd so things that have him laid on the floor make me nervous lol

i have one and used it from ds could hold his head up was definitely before he could sit up/was 6 months.

I sell them in work and usually say from when they can reliably hold their head up for 20 minutes- otherwise, there is the risk they could headbutt the toys when they lose strength.

Musty my ds2 absolutely loved it, from about 5 or 6 months. He bounced about like no tomorrow, it was hilarious to watch actually

I have heard similar reports from others

go for it!

erm actually I think maybe from around 4 months, can't remember when we started using it. If hes a big guy and can hold his head up then sounds Ok - it's maybe back strength though? ds2 was sitting by himself at 4 months.

We bought a door bouncer instead and put dd in it when she just 4 months old as her head control was very good. Just dont let him stay in it too long to start with x
