Which one would you choose/have you got? Has to have 7 seats!

We are in the same predicament as we are expecting our fourth child. The real problem is that I hate them all and so choosing is near impossible! We have almost decided on the Citroen C8 as it is a true 7 seater and not one with the midget seats in the back. My favourite however is the Grand PIcasso but our two eldest children are tall teenagers and so we really need lots of room.

I hear what you are saying tartetatin. I am selling my SAAB 93 (which I love) to get this next car but with baby no3 on the way it is no longer practical. I test drove the Peugeot yesterday and really liked it but the seats at the back don't fold into the floor but you can remove them completely. Frineds are visiting next week with their S Max which they love so hoping to have a spin in then. I just don't know which one to go for!

Just to add to the mix, how about a Toyota Verso? Has flat 3 seats in middle, with 2 in the boot that can comfortably fit adult and do fold away completely.

I like mine. My MIL had an smax - was stolen, but she was secretly relieved because she said it was a pig to drive.

Just got the C8. Sliding doors at the side (auto) also auto windscreen wipers and auto lights. Proper seats at the rear for any passenger. Diesel auto, feels like you are sitting in an armchair....... heaven to drive, air bags all round, auto dimming rear view mirror when a car comes up behind you.

Trialled the new Picasso but did not like the auto gear change/paddle change system plus with the grand the seats are into the floor as is the Zafira.

We did have the Seat Alhambra and that was good too but prefer my Citroen (ca you tell I'm in love )

Test drove the Toyota, it was ok but preferred the Peugeot. Haven't really looked into the Citroen that much have just heard good things. Also had a Zafira as a hire car back in the summer and didn't like it so we haven't added it to our list.

I love my vw touran - all of the middle seats move forwards and backwards and also recline. Had 6 adults as passengers last week and not at all squashed (I was the one in the middle ). Plus 3 point seat belts for all. Lively drive as well. Had zafira before and so much more roomier with touran.

VaginaShmergina · 16/11/2008 18:37

C8 seats do the same Recycle.

S Max for me. Its fab and DP doesn't mind driving it as well (he's a bit of a petrolhead and was very anti people carrier but he loves it too)
